We are an empty theater
With broken glass and love
Support beams start to teeter
But I gave them the shove
Oh seats of truth you're lonely
But I'd much rather stand
Our layers are now fading
The lighter shades below are shown

There is a rising water
Like a calm before the rain
I smell smoke but see no fire
I feel warmth but fear no flame
We're gaining on the end now
Silk somber curtains fall
We're dancing on the ashes
Dear water cleanse us all

There's a hole inside my chest but the breeze; it keeps me moving
There's a time for everything except for running out of time
And like stars we fall down like leaves of a dying tree

And so this story's over
And the ashes still remain
We all are dying embers
Until then I fade
